At Pivot Prosthetics and Orthotics,
we offer individual and advanced care that STANDS OUT.
Lower Limb Prosthetics
Getting you back on your feet is only the beginning.
A prosthesis should help you get back to your life—not make your life revolve around your prosthesis.
At Pivot Prosthetics, we provide prosthetic care for all levels of lower limb amputation, from partial foot and below-knee prostheses to above-knee and more complex levels of amputation.
Every prosthesis we make begins with the person who will actually be wearing it.
Your Goals Drive the Design
Someone who wants to safely walk around their home has very different needs than someone working twelve-hour shifts on uneven ground. A rancher, athlete, parent, retiree, construction worker, and new amputee may all require very different solutions.
That's why we spend time learning about your everyday life.
We consider your activity level, work environment, terrain, hobbies, skin health, strength, balance, limb shape, previous prosthetic experience, and long-term goals when designing your prosthesis.
Prosthetic technology
Depending on your needs, your prosthesis may include advanced socket designs, elevated vacuum or suction suspension, locking systems, flexible inner sockets, energy-storing feet, hydraulic ankles, microprocessor-controlled knees, or other specialized components.
We work with technology from leading prosthetic manufacturers, but we aren't tied to one particular brand or system. Our job is to determine which technology makes the most sense for you.
Socket fit matters.
The most advanced prosthetic foot or knee in the world won't make up for an uncomfortable socket.
We place a strong emphasis on socket fit, suspension, alignment, skin protection, and follow-up care. As your limb changes, we'll work with you to make adjustments and keep your prosthesis working the way it should.
New amputees
If you're facing an upcoming amputation or have recently had surgery, you don't have to wait until you're ready for a prosthesis to meet us.
We can answer questions about the prosthetic process, healing, shrinkers, timelines, insurance, rehabilitation, and what life with a prosthesis may look like.
Sometimes simply knowing what comes next makes the process a little easier.
Questions? Not sure which line of care you specifically need? Call us and we would love to help!
